Level Caps and Progression

  • Initial Level Cap: 50
  • Final Level Cap: 75
  • Progression: We begin with the base game and gradually unlock expansions, jobs, and crafting tiers, eventually reaching a classic level 75 cap.

Expansions

  • Starting Point: No expansions initially.
  • Release Schedule: Expansions, including Rise of the Zilart, Chains of Promathia, Treasure of Aht Urhgan, Wings of the Goddess, and the add-ons (ACP, MKE, ASA) unlock over time.

Experience Points (EXP)

  • Era Base EXP Rates: EP: 15–47, DC: 50–93, EM: 100.
  • With Wings of the Goddess: EP: 30–77, DC: 80–97, EM: 100.
  • Level Sync: Enabled. No level difference penalty, but certain zone-wide bonuses or penalties apply when significantly out-leveling the target monster.

Movement Speed & Dual Boxing

  • Retail Speed (50): Movement speed is 25% faster than Era Standard.
  • Prohibited: Characters sharing an IP address must submit an exception request if more than one person at that IP intends to play simultaneously.

Crafting

  • Crafting Cap: 100, with an initial cap of 60 at launch.
  • Subcraft Cap: 60.
  • Skill-Up Chance: Retail base rate (x1.0).

Fishing

  • Fishing Cap: 100.
  • Skill-Up Chance: +10% (x1.1) compared to retail.
  • Catch Limit: Retail base of 200 fish per in-game day, but your character must reach Rank 3 to exceed 20 fish per day.
  • Fishing Pools: Increased pool size before they are depleted.

Jobs, Abilities, and Traits

  • Job Availability: Additional jobs are introduced in step with expansion releases.
  • Trusts: Enabled and rebalanced with a Maximum of two deployed at a time. One is unlocked at level 5, another at level 50. Trusts will be balanced to ensure they are a stop gap, not a party replacement.
  • Out-of-Era Abilities/Traits: Many have been scaled down or adjusted to fit the 75 Era.

Merits

  • Modern Retail Options: But potency of out-of-era merits has been scaled down to maintain balance.
  • Caps: Increase gradually alongside expansion releases.

Additional Content and Features

  • Records of Eminence: Disabled.
  • Login Points: Disabled.
  • Explorer Moogle: Unlocked at Rank 3 for teleportation services.
  • Home Point Warps: Disabled for a more authentic experience.
  • Maps: Obtainable through classic means.
  • Mounts: Disabled, with Chocobo Digging still enabled.
  • Outposts: Classic obtainment and unlocked via winning the corresponding Garrison.
  • Fields of Valor (FoV) / Grounds of Valor (GoV): Enabled, but only one reward per game day. No Prowesses.
  • Treasure Caskets: Enabled, each with an extra attempt by default.
  • Widescan: Enabled for all jobs with BST and RNG having a wider range.

Battlefields and Instances

  • Assault Cooldown: 24 hours per tag, storing up to 5 tags.
  • ENM Cooldown: 120 hours.
  • Limbus Cooldown: 20 hours.
  • Dynamis: Uses a more modern retail version, with a 70-hour cooldown.
  • KSNM King Force Spawns: Active, ensuring alternative access to certain notable enemies.

Economy

  • Guilds: No holiday closures, no NPC resale. Out of era vendor wares is adjusted.
  • Auction House: 14-day listing period, up to 6 pages viewable.
  • Bazaar Tax: 10% globally.
  • Item Resale: -10% reduction from standard retail pricing.
  • Quest Gil: Quest Gil rewards doubled. Repeatable quests only double gil three times per real-life day.

Inventory and Equipment

  • Wardrobes: Unlock progressively as your character's journey and achievements expand.
  • Notorious Monsters (NMs): Drop Rare/Ex versions of rewards. BCNMs drop the rare version. E.g. Bounding Boots and Leaping Boots.
  • Claim Shield: All lottery and time spawn NMs provide one random player in range a brief first chance to claim.
  • NM Spawn Rates: Reduced placeholder times. Increased spawn rate for each PH defeated.
  • HNM Windows: 30–60 minutes max, with a smaller 5–10 minute window inside that range.
These configurations aim to deliver an immersive, balanced, and faithful 75 Era setting, enhanced by only minimal customizations to keep things fun and sustainable. We want players to relive the sense of wonder they experienced during the height of classic FFXI, with just enough modern improvements to streamline minor inconveniences.
